Jeff had an appointment a few weeks ago and the bones were still trying to grow together after the bone graphs. Jeff had asked the Dr about the possiblity of removing the pinky finger as it is hard and hurts alot. The pinky is the only finger that has a plate across the nuckle that wil not be removed. With that said the pinky will always stick out completely straight and in the way. Jeff was thinking if the pinky was removed it would give him more mobility. He is hoping the ring finger will respond as well as the other fingers once the pin is removed.
The 23rd is a big day! Jeff and Dr Madey will discuss whats next. Pinky removal? Plate removal? More tendon and vain repair? Scar tissue clean up? Lots of decisions.
Jeff is pretty much the only guy I know that would deal with this as well as he has. Nothing stops him. Great attitude, loves his family and life. Keep him in your prayers please as he is still dealing with alot of pain and trying to not take anything for it.

He is so amazing and he keeps getting stronger. I know personally I would not be as strong as he is. I am so glad to call him my brother. I pray for him all the time and I know he has gaurdian angels who are looking out for him. Love you all, Deanne
