Yesterday Jeff decided to go fishing with Greg and Gary. With a few attempts at fishing in the past weeks Jeff has learned that his hand gets very cold quickly with all the metal plates and screws. It aches allot. But with perseverance and will he used a warming hand wrap he received for Christmas, added a few hand warmers and put on a large glove and headed to the river. Greg caught the first one and Jeff caught the second (bigger of course as he is the older brother). I asked him if he was excited and he said Heck yeah. I asked him if it was difficult and he looked at me funny and said One handed! So I take that as a yes!(Please feel free to leave Jeff a comment below by clicking comment. I am so VERY PROUD of you Jeff! It has been amazing watching you get better as the days go by. I knew that you would do well, just keep moving forward and you will master all that you use to do in one way or another. It's true, God doesn't give you more then you can handle. As with me, you will realize that you are far more strong then you could possibly imagine.
ReplyDeleteAs always you are in my thoughts and prayers. You, Dawna and the kids are my family and families should always be there for you! I am here if you ever need anything and remember, you are never alone. Love you my friend.... Tina

ReplyDeleteIt is so amazing to see how far he has come in such a short time. I know he will only get better and better as time goes by. He is an amazing older brother and is unbelievably brave and strong. I am so proud to call him my brother. He is also blessed with having the support of his wife and kids. He is also blessed to have such great friends as a strong support group. Keep up the great work. Love you lots, Deanne
