3/08/10 Pre Op pinky removal

Well Yesterday was hardware removal (plates & Screws), Pinky removal, and clean up and removel of a suture that was left from the previous surgery. Jeff is feeling pretty good today. He has some pain but is up and eating as well as taking over the remote control. This morning Jeff mentioned that since his last surgery he has had a pain up under his armpit. Today that was gone. Either pinky or hardware was causing that and he is very glad its gone. Also he has some feeling and movement already from the ring finger that he did not have before. So it seems that the decision to remove the pinky to help eliminate pain and enable the ring finger more function was a good idea. We can remove the bandage in a few days and will update with pictures then.
