Seven Days Post Op Third Surgery 11/17/09

This is a picture after Jeffs third surgery on 11/10/09. They removed his pins and replaced them with bone from his hip and metal plates. Some say god will not put more on your plate then you can handle, but during this surgery we were both doubting that. Jeff was in tremendous pain. His fingers are very very swollen and the pinky seems to be a little infected. We are working hard at home to keep it clean and do all of the therapy to each finger six times a day. (Jeff the tough guy says its the worst pain imaginable). We have learned there are more surgeries to come. Ugg
